Shirakami-Sanchi

Overview

Shirakami-Sanchi is mountainous area which includes the last virgin forest of Siebold's in Akita and Aomori Prefectures. This place was one of the first sites entered on the World Natural Heritage Site in Japan, along with Yakushima.
